Functional strengthening flow based on yoga asanas. We move with the breath, 3 rounds per flow, building the pace and intensity progressively. UT= Up Tempo.
UT means more upbeat music, explorations of creative transitions, and functional-movement inspired flows paired with non-traditional music. Moving to the breath, moving to the beat, moving in the heat. Let's sweat.
THE MAT MX’S SIGNATURE FUNCTIONAL MOBILITY YOGA FLOW:
5-3-1 DOWN-TEMPO
Functional recovery flow based on yoga asanas. We start 2 rounds of longer holds with the breath, and finish the last round vinyasa style - 1 breath per movement. We then hold deeper stretches that target muscles used in the flow, for maximum muscle recovery. DT= Down Tempo. DT = slower music, mobility and flexibility focused flows paired with non-traditional music. Moving to the breath, moving to the beat, moving in the heat. Let's sweat.
